2024-25 Tuition and rates

Tuition, per trimester, per student, for households with 1-2 students in lessons:

  • Level 1 (30-minute lessons) $335

  • Level 2 (45-minute lessons) $478

  • Levels 3 and 4 (60-minute lessons) $603

Tuition, per trimester, per students, for households with 3+ students in lessons:

  • Level 1 (30-minute lessons) $285

  • Level 2 (45-minute lessons) $406

  • Levels 3 and 4 (60-minute lessons) $513

Single, ad hoc lesson:

  • $70 (60-minute lesson)

studio policies

  1. The lesson year consists of three trimesters: fall (September-November), winter (December-February), and spring (March-May). Each trimester has ten lessons.

  2. The instructor assigns a lesson time to each student. Students typically have one lesson each week but no lessons on major national holidays or during predesignated breaks.

  3. Please arrive five minutes before your scheduled lesson time. For courtesy of other students, please do not arrive too soon before your scheduled lesson time.

  4. Gum is not allowed during lessons.

  5. Contact the instructor if the student will miss a lesson. Missed lessons can be made up only in the same trimester that the original lesson was missed. The instructor will periodically notify students if and when make-up lessons are available. At the end of the trimester, students forfeit any and all missed lessons.

  6. The instructor reserves the right to cancel any lesson with no refund, credit, or make-up lesson. However, under most circumstances, the instructor will find a lesson alternative or schedule a make-up lesson.

  7. The instructor reserves the right to discontinue any student’s lessons at any time, for any and no reason, and without refund.


Tuition policies

  1. All tuition and fees can be paid by cash, check, or online with Zelle.

  2. Failure to pay tuition and fees by the deadline could result in a loss of a lesson time.

  3. All new students must pay a one-time registration fee of $65 per family (due at registration).

  4. All students must pay an annual registration fee of $35 per family (due September 1).

  5. Tuition is due by the 10th of the first month in each trimester (Sept 10, Dec 10, Mar 10).

  6. Additional fees are subject to special events, including but not limited to recitals, exams, and competitions.

  7. Families under financial hardship may contact the instructor for alternative payment options.

  8. If you refer another student (who is not part of your household) and that student joins the studio, then you receive a referral credit of $105. The referral credit is applied to next billing trimester.
